Overlook Nook

Pros: Beautiful view of the mountain and lake. Short drive to downtown. Cons: Very uncomfortable mattresses, stairs were missing a balusters making it unsafe for my little one. The windows are poorly sealed, and the wind noise was very noticeable all night, which made it hard to sleep.

Great stay for hiking in RMNP!

This place wasn't awful but I don't think I'll go back. Google Maps tells you that your destination is 2 blocks away from where it actually was. We arrived in the dark and it took us an hour to find it mostly because they have fencing blocking off part of their parking lot and the average response time for the people managing this property is 13 hours so I didn't feel like I could reach out for help. The parking at this place is very scarce as well. The only other thing I didn't like is they seem strict on how many towels you can use which is weird to me that you would pay over $1000 for four nights during off season and then there to be a rule that you can't use two towels. I have really long hair so I thought this was inconvenient because I didn't bring extra towels. I've never left a bad review on Airbnb before but just compared to the other experiences I've had with Airbnb this just wasn't up to par to what I've had in the past.
